Wij hebben de beveiligingsmechanismen van uw Persoonlijke Account bijgewerkt om het platform gebruiksvriendelijker te maken, met behoud van een hoog beschermingsniveau voor uw persoonlijke gegevens en geldmiddelen.

Belangrijkste wijzigingen:

• Financieel wachtwoord verwijderd. Het aparte financiële wachtwoord is volledig uit het systeem verwijderd. U hoeft het niet langer in te voeren of te wijzigen.
• Een uniforme beveiligingsstandaard voor transacties. Het financiële wachtwoord is vervangen door een veiligere verificatiemethode. Vanaf nu moeten alle opnameverzoeken en interne overboekingen worden bevestigd via tweefactorauthenticatie (2FA). Om een financiële transactie te voltooien, dient u een eenmalige verificatiecode in te voeren die automatisch naar uw e-mailadres wordt verzonden.
• Vereenvoudigd inloggen op uw account. Verplichte tweefactorauthenticatie (2FA) voor het inloggen op uw Persoonlijke Account is voor alle gebruikers uitgeschakeld. U kunt nu inloggen met alleen uw gebruikersnaam en primaire wachtwoord. Wij raden echter nog steeds aan 2FA voor het inloggen in te schakelen voor het hoogste beschermingsniveau van uw persoonlijke gegevens.

• Kies uw gewenste authenticatiemethode (Google Authenticator of E-mail) en schakel de gebeurtenis Inloggen in.

Deze wijzigingen zijn bedoeld om uw dagelijks gebruik van de Persoonlijke Account te stroomlijnen, met behoud van een moderne standaard voor gegevensbeveiliging. De updates zijn reeds van kracht.

In December 2024, the first commercial project by UST Inc.—the uLite transport system—was launched at the Aquarelle Eco Park. After two full winters of continuous operation, we are now presenting interim results of this innovative transport system.

Impressive Operational Stability

The route runs above the scenic territory of the eco park, offering passengers unique elevated views. Over the period of operation, the system has attracted a large number of visitors, including from outside Belarus, becoming a local point of interest.

Key operational indicators:

• Over 7,700 passengers have ridden the autonomous vehicle (comparable to the population of a small town).
• Total track vehicle mileage reached 12,330 km.
• Total continuous operating time in motion amounted to 870 hours.

Performance Under Extreme Conditions

The team paid particular attention to system performance during cold-weather operation. The winters served as a real stress test: the system operated successfully at temperatures down to −25°C, as well as during freezing rain, heavy snowfalls, and ice formation on the track structure.

System stability was ensured by advanced automated solutions:

• A dedicated weather station continuously measures wind conditions and transmits data to dispatch for route adjustments.
• Wheel-motor sensors instantly detect slippage on ice or snow, after which the system automatically adjusts acceleration and braking modes.
• A simple and effective self-cleaning system was implemented: the vehicle is equipped with brushes and scrapers Preliminary runs of an empty vehicle, combined with the 8×8 all-wheel drive system, allow the track to be cleared of snow and ice (up to 15 mm thick) in just a few passes.

Energy Efficiency and Material Reliability

While the driving range of some mainstream electric vehicles can drop by half in winter conditions, the uLite battery system demonstrated high efficiency, with the number of trips per charge decreasing by only 25% compared to the warm season. The built-in battery heating system (charging is only possible at temperatures above 0°C) operated without any failures.

The materials used in the system proved highly resistant to harsh climate conditions. The corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy track structure and fiberglass body with weather-resistant coating reliably protect the system from moisture, ice, cracking, and deformation. The body retains high impact resistance even at extremely low temperatures.

Engineering Evolution Based on Operational Data

Real-world winter operation enabled a series of important technical upgrades:

• Chassis: suspension was improved (side wheels and new support wheels with wear-resistant bands were installed), and the positioning system was adjusted, significantly improving ride smoothness and tracking accuracy.
• Electronics: traction inverter control algorithms were adapted for both summer and winter modes; automatic charging systems were improved, and the onboard voice alert system was updated.
• Comfort and safety: winter floor coverings were added for passengers, door locking systems were upgraded and reinforced.

Based on collected data, enhanced load sensors are already being tested, and a computer vision system using onboard stereo cameras is under active development.

Key Outcome

Two winters of commercial operation have confirmed the high reliability and safety of uST transport solutions. Notably, no special winter maintenance regime was required—only standard scheduled maintenance and seasonal drainage cleaning were sufficient.

Extensive positive passenger feedback and stable system performance demonstrate that uST complexes are low-maintenance and well adapted to severe weather conditions.

Nepal’s new government and the country’s growing political stability have created favorable conditions for the development of string transport technology. Our regional partner, Kathmandu Podway Pvt. Ltd., has secured a government contract from the Department of Transport Management to conduct a feasibility study on implementing uST systems in the republic.

Official Recognition of the Technology

Government agencies in Nepal had previously been reviewing analytical materials related to second-level transport systems. The process has now moved into the stage of formal state evaluation. Combined with the country’s improving political stability, the launch of official tender procedures creates a significant opportunity for advancing the technology in the region.

A Large-Scale Project for Kathmandu

The company is currently preparing a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for participation in the next major government tender. The proposed project involves the construction of 105 kilometers of string transport lines in Kathmandu. The tender process is expected to begin in July this year.

Economic and Environmental Benefits

According to local experts, the introduction of uST systems could help Nepal address several strategic challenges, including reducing dependence on expensive fuel imports, lowering harmful emissions, and strengthening the country’s investment and tourism appeal.

Construction is underway at the Sosny Health Resort on the shores of Lake Naroch. Workers are currently pouring and placing concrete for the foundation slab of a new wellness complex. This is the exact location where the first anchoring support of the string transport system will be installed. The next support will be positioned 200 meters away.

Why uST instead of a traditional connecting gallery? Originally, a 196-meter glass-enclosed walkway linking the accommodation building with the new wellness complex was considered as an option. However, the idea was later rejected: such a structure would have visually overloaded the resort environment, looked aesthetically out of place, and required ongoing maintenance.

Instead, the uST solution was selected. A futuristic transport module with 360° panoramic glazing will allow guests to move between buildings in any weather conditions while wearing bathrobes and slippers. Boarding will take place via a dedicated two-level glazed passage. To enable this, a second-floor window in the existing building will be converted into a doorway with a platform door connecting directly to the anchoring support.

Construction approach and timeline Design work for the complex took approximately one year. A key challenge was integrating the system into the existing resort infrastructure while minimizing environmental impact. The uST technology allows supports to be installed on virtually any terrain without large-scale earthworks or site leveling, significantly reducing construction costs. Existing buildings and utility systems are being used in the project.

Several contractors are involved in delivery of the project. A Chinese company is responsible for constructing the anchoring and intermediate supports, while a Belarusian contractor with relevant experience is assembling the track structure. uST specialists are providing on-site supervision to ensure full compliance with design documentation.

Project completion is scheduled for November.
