The authorities in Tainan, Taiwan, have revised the implementation plan for the initial construction phase of the uST elevated transport complex. Because some project documents still require approval, the project will now be implemented in stages.

Route changes

The passenger line will connect key recreational areas across the city, including Hutoupi Lake, Xinhua Park, and the tourist attractions located between them.

• Original plan: Four stations—Hutoupi, Lakeside Hotel, Lakeside Hill Town, and Xinhua Forest Farm.
• Current plan: In the first phase, only the section covering the first three stations will be built. Construction of the fourth station has been temporarily postponed because its proposed location requires approval of amendments to Tainan’s urban planning documents.

Project timeline

Following several delays caused by administrative procedures and the transfer of documents, the city administration held a coordination meeting on August 11. The following schedule was approved:

• September: Start of a three-month public consultation period.
• December: Completion of the tender process and selection of a contractor.

UST Inc.’s interests in the region are represented by SkyTaxi. The company previously signed a framework cooperation agreement with the Tainan municipal government, which praised the potential of string transport technology to support local infrastructure development.

Your discount is locked in for the full term

Your discount is locked in when you set up your installment plan and remains unchanged throughout the full 10 months, right up to your final payment. Any subsequent changes to the offer terms will not affect your existing installment plan.

What the Ecofest Booster package includes

• Base share allocation: 23,250 shares (the Booster package itself offers a 1:310 discount).
• EcoFest 2026 live stream: The event will take place on September 18. Your access link will be sent to your verified email address that morning (access is tied to your account and is non-transferable). The link will also be sent to holders of EcoFest 2026 Loyalty Packages and participants who completed Requirements 1 and 2 of the Marathon.
• Exclusive offer: Access to individual packages priced at $250, $500, and $1,000 with a discount of 1:400. They will appear on September 18 under “My portfolio” → “Individual offers.”

How vouchers work and how to increase your discount

• Vouchers will appear in your Personal Account on September 18, when the individual packages become available, and you can send them immediately.
• Who can receive a voucher: Any registered user with a verified email address. You cannot send a voucher to yourself or to someone who already has access to the offer.
• Activation requirement: A voucher counts as used only after its recipient purchases at least one package from the exclusive offer. For purchases in installments, making the first payment is sufficient.
• Discount increase: Once three recipients have used your vouchers, your personal discount on individual packages will increase from 1:400 to 1:500.
• Share recalculation: You can purchase individual packages at a 1:400 discount without waiting for your vouchers to be used.
